I help powerful women learn to stay ahead of their emotions so that they show up calm, collected and in control, ready to lead and execute with poise.
I help you recognize that often times your underlying thoughts pertaining to areas such as self-worth, perfectionism, and time management are what lead to your frustrated reactions.
Let me help you learn how to identify, manage, and then let go of what is not serving you – whether that’s at home or work – with time management, anger management, self-worth, cultural disparities, parenting issues, business development, or any other area that is important to you.
My life changed after March of 2020, as did everyone’s. I reached a pinnacle of unproductive emotions while trying to juggle the true unknown of my future and understand what the purpose was for all of my prior hard work, which now all seemed pointless.
With mindset coaching, I started to become aware of how I was thinking and realized how this was impacting me, in a negative way. I evolved as I saw that life’s challenges are what really get us to our end goals every day.
Now, let me help you find YOUR inner voice, decide if it is serving you, and then advance to empower yourself towards success.
We juggle multiple hats. We are tired, yet we delay our own self-care and celebrations in the interest of others, ultimately at our own expense. What's stopping you from reaching your FULL potential? Explore the process...

"I take many lessons from our time working together, but perhaps the most important has been an increased awareness..."
L.W. Pediatrics
I signed up for coaching with Arpita after meeting her at a conference. Her forthright and compassionate approach made sense to me, and I wanted to challenge myself and my assumptions about my career. She has helped me to find authentic hope and optimism while making concrete plans for the next stages in my career. I have been able to learn from uncomfortable feelings and sit with my emotions, often for the first time. I take many lessons from our time working together, but perhaps the most important has been an increased awareness of my thoughts and the narratives that led me to untrue assumptions. I encourage anyone seeking growth and peace to consider coaching with Arpita. The time I have spent working with her has made a huge difference in my sense of self and ability to rise to new challenges.
"I loved talking within a group of fellow physicians and hearing their experiences."
R.T.
Group coaching with Arpita encouraged me to advocate for myself. I loved talking within a group of fellow physicians and hearing their experiences each week. One of the biggest takeaways I learned was to give myself the same grace I give to others. I would tell anyone who is thinking of working with Arpita to DO IT!
“Coaching has literally been life changing for me."
N.P. ER Physician
Coaching has literally been life changing for me. I signed up for coaching when I realized that I was not being present in my life. I was just going through the motions checking things off the list as quickly as new ones could be added. I felt like a hamster on a never ending wheel. I felt like life was slipping away. I was not truly enjoying the gift that I had been given. Since I started coaching I have begun to take control of my thoughts which has improved my feelings/ emotions. I am no longer as reactive with frustrating situations at home or work. Although my schedule and commitments haven't changed I feel like things have slowed down. I no longer feel like my life is out of control and total chaos. I am able to show up as a better version of myself!
"My outlook on life really changed after the first few sessions."
B.S. Rehab Physician
I was initially hesitant about coaching but I decided to give it a try after meeting Arpita at a conference. I knew I needed to change something and wasn’t really sure how to go about it. My outlook on life really changed after the first few sessions. I thought this was going to be about work but this also changed my relationships and overall day to day. I started becoming more aware of my thoughts and how I react to them. I am working on moving forward in my career and much happier. I highly recommend it.
"Arpita gave me the "kick in the pants" that I needed to get my mindset in the right place."
J.S. Neurologist
I left my clinical practice because I knew I needed a change and it was time to do something new. But, I did not know where to start! I felt stuck and overwhelmed about how to take the next steps. Arpita gave me the "kick in the pants" that I needed to get my mindset in the right place. She helped me realize how much my thoughts were holding my back. With her help I was able to regain my confidence, get organized and tap into my creative potential so that I could move forward with excitement into the next chapter.
"Coaching with Arpita is the best thing I have ever done for myself."
SS- Internal Medicine Physician
Coaching with Arpita is the best thing I have ever done for myself. It’s really tricky to explain until you have gotten into the rhythm of unburdening yourself and realizing how lighter you feel with each step. We started by working on issues less painful to openly digest— work, kids. With time and evidence of my own progress, my desire to improve the most intimate parts of my life overcame my fear of exploring the deeper, more sacred topics of my own childhood and my marriage. Each step, beautifully connected in a similar way, I know the answer even before making the conscious connection. I have never felt fuller, in more control of my life, and more secure in all my relationship. No questions; best thing ever you can do for yourself!!
"Her program is a GAME CHANGER! If you're thinking of private coaching, don't think twice."
E.W. - Sports Med
Arpita's program has helped me recover from the burn out that I was feeling in my job. We have worked on shifting my mindset and making small but hugely impactful changes that have led me to feel better about work and be more efficient in clinic. I am in clinic 4 days per week, and every week I was spending 6-8 hours on my 'day off' finishing charts that had accumulated from the week. Now, I spend less than 30 minutes on my day off with any extra work that didn't get finished during the week. I have more brain energy to contribute to other pursuits and the idea that I have to continue to level up my work. Her program is a GAME CHANGER! If you're thinking of private coaching, don't think twice. It's worth every penny and could save your career and livelihood!!
" Arpita's empathetic approach and insightful coaching made me realizethe importance of addressing this deep-seated emotion."
T.B. Family Medicine
I am writing this testimonial with immense gratitude and enthusiasm for the incredible impact Arpita, Thought Work MD Physician Life Coach, has had on my life. I first encountered Arpita's wisdom and expertise at the Women Physician Wellness Conference, where her authenticity and relatable story immediately struck a chord with me. At the time, I was grappling with underlying anger that permeated multiple facets of my life. Arpita's empathetic approach and insightful coaching made me realize the importance of addressing this deep-seated emotion. The transformation that ensued has been nothing short of remarkable.
"Arpita is patient and kind, but she also won't hesitate to challenge me or call me out on my BS."
M.F. Pediatrics
I met Arpita at a conference and liked her immediately. I later found out she was a personal coach and, having recently been through some significant trauma, I decided to take the leap and work with her. I am a long-term skeptic of the need for a personal coach, but I really needed someone to help guide me through what I was feeling and was very interested in working with a fellow physician who would "get it". Arpita is patient and kind, but she also won't hesitate to challenge me or call me out on my BS (which is exactly what I need). She has helped me navigate through a tough period and moved me well along toward healing. We rarely have a shortage of topics to discuss, and she also points me in the direction of helpful podcasts and other resources that help to drive home what she wants me to take out of our sessions. Arpita has helped me professionally and personally, and I'm very glad I took the step to work with her.
"One of the biggest things I learned from working with Arpita is that we are in control of our thoughts."
R.P.
One of the biggest things I learned from working with Arpita is that we are in control of our thoughts. Thoughts are not facts, and we can change our thoughts. After coaching with her, I was less stressed as I gave myself some grace and was better able to be present. It was nice to know I'm not alone; doctors are people too!
"I wholeheartedly recommend Arpita to anyone seeking a life coach..."
T.B. Family Medicine
One of the initial areas Arpita guided me through was my professional life. Through her guidance, I learned to recognize and appreciate my true value, dispelling limiting beliefs that had hindered my growth. Arpita's impact extended beyond the professional realm. Through her thought work and guidance, my marriage and relationships with my children underwent a positive transformation. I wholeheartedly recommend Arpita to anyone seeking a life coach who not only understands the challenges of a physician's life but also possesses the unique ability to facilitate transformative change. Arpita's Thought Work, MD methodology is a beacon of hope for those ready to overcome obstacles, unlock their potential, and embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling and empowered life.
"I loved learning the difference between the facts and the stories we make up about them and how powerful our thoughts can be."
L.E.
The group coaching sessions took place during a very busy time for my family, but having the tools to think through multiple difficult decisions was liberating. I loved the weekly modules and learning (being reminded) about the tools and skills that help with our thoughts. I loved learning the difference between the facts and the stories we make up about them and how powerful our thoughts can be. I would tell anyone who is considering coaching with Arpita to approach it with an open mind, to listen, to try these skills in real world situations and to keep practicing! It's worth it!
