Your brain is not fixed. 🧠
One of the most incredible things about the human brain is neuroplasticity—its ability to change, adapt, and create new neural pathways.
Think of your brain like Play-Doh. You can reshape it.
That means you are not doomed to stay stuck in old patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving.
But change doesn’t require you to completely overhaul your life overnight.
In fact, sometimes the most powerful place to start is with a minimum baseline.
A minimum baseline is the smallest, easiest version of a behavior that you’re willing to commit to consistently.
And I mean ridiculously easy.
Want to exercise more? Start with 5 minutes twice a week.
Want to save money? Skip one coffee run each week.
Want to write a book? Write for 5 minutes a day.
Want to change your eating habits? Start with one day a week without dessert.
The goal isn’t to impress yourself with how ambitious you can be.
The goal is to prove to yourself that you can follow through.
Because every time you honor a commitment you’ve made to yourself, you build self-trust.
You’re creating evidence that says:
I do what I say I’m going to do.
And once that becomes your new normal, you can gradually raise the bar.
This is how small actions become new habits.
New habits become new neural pathways.
And new neural pathways can create a very different life.
You don’t have to change everything today.
Just start with something you know you can do—and do it consistently. 💜
That small commitment may be the first step toward a much bigger transformation. 🦋
