Become more aware about what you are thinking.

Did you show up this week in a way that you aren’t proud of?

Do you know what you were thinking when you acted this way?

Wouldn’t it be great if you could catch your brain in the act and pause the thought that triggered that undesired reaction?

Recognizing your thought and feeling patterns and the reasoning behind them can allow you to catch yourself before reacting to a situation. When you are able to catch yourself in the thought and pause before reacting, you empower yourself to make a change.

Increase your awareness of those subconscious crappy thoughts that are not serving you. It’ll help you gain control of the reactions you then have. Ultimately, the choice of if you decide to change is up to you, when you start reclaiming control of your mind and intentionally choose how to think.

This will take practice. Change doesn’t come easily, because your brain likes to take the easy route and think what it is used to thinking.
