People think it’s selfish, when they put themselves first.
I’m here to tell you that’s BS. It’s not.
When you focus on your needs and the things required to help you be your best self, it will trickle down and directly benefit those around you. Your family, your friends, your colleagues…
When you are genuinely cared for by YOURSELF, caring for others becomes effortless and you’re more available to give them your all.
Think about how you feel after you do this…
Aren’t you on a HIGH?
Most of us do treat ourselves to self-care once in a while. But why not more often?
The trick is to schedule you “ME TIME” for self care each week FIRST.
Give yourself an hour every 2-3 days to do WHATEVER YOU WANT- even if that is nothing at all!!”
Because, you know if you don’t make that your first priority, it will never happen.
If your brain is challenging this or making excuses for why you can’t do it- I ask you to really analyze those reasons.

So, no, it is not selfish to put yourself first.
When you take care of yourself first, you become empowered to pay it forward.
