Being a guest on the Stress Free MD Podcast was a meaningful opportunity to share my personal journey with anger and the shame I once associated with it.
We explored how anger can often be a trauma response, rooted in deeper pain, and the pivotal shift from reacting impulsively to responding thoughtfully. I emphasized the importance of processing emotions rather than suppressing them and how this practice leads to greater self-awareness and healing. Most importantly, I discussed the transformative power of approaching ourselves with compassion and kindness, reminding listeners that understanding our emotions is an act of self-love and growth.
