What Does Your Child See?

5/7/21

When your child looks up to you, what do they see? They deserve to see a smile.

Planning out your week ahead during a Thursday Time Out to avoid the rush will help you set aside more time to smile with your kids. It is easy to get caught up in all of the things that need to get done, but prioritizing moments with your children can help you feel at ease.

Parents who are always on the go will often set the same high expectations for their children. Demanding that our children to be top in their class or excel with a talent we feel strongly about can set unrealistic expectations.

Encouraging children to choose their path can help them become independent thinkers, which will benefit them later in life. So, how often does your child see you smile? How often do you set aside time to play and enjoy them for who they are?

Take time away from your schedule and play a key role in helping your children develop mentally and socially.
