Today is National Physician Suicide Awareness Day.
It’s a day to remember those we’ve lost—and to reach out to the ones who are still here, quietly carrying what feels unbearable.
Behind the white coat, the badge, the title… there’s a human being.
One who might be exhausted.
One who might be silently thinking, “I can’t keep doing this.”
If that’s you, I want you to hear this:
You are not broken.
You are not weak.
You are human.
You’ve likely been trained to push through, to put others first, to never let it show.
But none of that means you should have to suffer in silence.
There is support.
There is nothing too dark, too complicated, or too far gone to reach out and say, “I need help.”
📞 Call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline—24/7, free, and confidential.

If you’re not struggling personally, use today as a reminder to check in on your people.
Be the one who asks. Be the one who stays. Be the one who says, “Me too,” if that’s your story.
You don’t have to keep holding it all alone.
You matter.
You are needed.
There is hope.
There is another way forward.
