I was revisiting an older podcast episode recently and honestly… this conversation still feels so relevant.

Especially for anyone whose brain feels like it has 47 tabs open at all times. 🙃

One of the biggest things I’ve learned about time optimization is that it’s not actually just about time.

It’s about mental energy.

Because when your brain is constantly trying to remember every task, every email, every appointment, every unfinished thought… it creates noise. And that noise quietly drains your focus, your presence, and your capacity.

That’s why I talked about the importance of doing a full brain dump in this episode.

Not as another productivity hack.

But as a way to stop carrying your life around mentally.

I walk through the exact process I use with my “What Do You Want?” and Priorities worksheets to get everything out of your head and into a system you can actually work with.

And one of my favorite parts of this conversation is talking through how to sort what lands on your list:

✨ What actually matters?

✨ What can be delegated?

✨ What are you holding onto that doesn’t even deserve your energy anymore?

Because not every task deserves access to your nervous system.

I also revisit my Thursday Time Out strategy, which has been one of the most powerful tools for helping me stay intentional instead of reactive.

If your to-do list has started running your life…

If your mind feels cluttered…

If you’re craving more clarity and less overwhelm…

This episode is worth another listen. 🦋 https://thoughtworkmd.com/26-the-ultimate-to-do-list-brain-dump/
