As Taylor Swift said: “I’m the problem, it’s me.”
But let’s be real— it’s not you.
It’s just your brain doing what it’s wired to do: scan for danger, dwell on mistakes, and totally ignore the good.
That inner critic?
It’s not the truth-teller.
It’s just loud.
Most of us don’t stop to notice what’s working.
We focus on what we didn’t finish.
What we didn’t say right.
Where we think we fell short.
Here’s what I do instead:
Every night, I ask myself:
“Tell me, love… what went well today?”
Not because everything’s perfect—but because I choose to make space for what’s good.
That one question shifts me out of survival mode and into presence.
And when I feel better, I lead better. Period.
Because the truth is:
You’re not just getting by.
You’re crushing it. 👏🏽
You’re a woman who wears all the hats—boss, mom, partner, daughter, leader.
And you’re doing a damn good job.
So don’t skip over your wins.
Don’t wait for someone else to tell you you’ve earned it.
Schedule in your self-care.
Buy the splurge item for you.
Say no without guilt.
You don’t need permission to feel proud of yourself.
Just a reminder.
💜 And here it is: You’re doing better than you think.
