Did you know your to-do list might be doing more harm than good?

Did you know your to-do list might be doing more harm than good?

I know—that list can feel like your lifeline.

But how often does it leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or behind before the day’s even started?

Now ask yourself:

Is it really helping you stay on track…

or just creating pressure—for you and the people around you?

When we’re running on urgency, it doesn’t stay contained.

That pressure can spill onto partners, coworkers, and especially our kids.

And when that pressure combines with perfectionism or high expectations—it can start to sound like:

“Why didn’t you finish this?”

“You should be doing better.”

“Let’s go—we’re already late.”

Tiger parenting can sneak in subtly.

Not because we don’t love our kids, but because we are carrying the weight of unmet expectations, fears, and internal pressure.

Sometimes, we project our need for control onto them without realizing it.

But here’s the truth:

Your child’s worth—and yours—isn’t defined by output.

It’s worth asking:

✨ Am I putting pressure on my kids because I’m feeling out of control elsewhere?

✨ Am I tying their success (or failure) to my value as a parent?

✨ What would happen if I allowed more space—for grace, for rest, for simply being?

This work isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about choosing presence over pressure, love over performance.

And yes—it is possible to live a to-do list–free life.

It starts with letting go of what’s not serving you… and leaning into what matters most.

If you’re ready, I’d love to help you find that freedom. 🦋
