Forgiveness really isn’t so much about the other person.


There are some really terrible things that other people do that can seem unforgivable. ☹️

Holding onto anger and resentment doesn’t actually hurt them in any way, however. It only hurts you.

When you can release the anger you feel toward those who have wronged you, you free yourself from the burden of constantly carrying this negative energy. 🆓

Forgiveness really isn’t so much about the other person.

It isn’t really for them.

It is really just for you.

Again, for your own sake.

You don’t even have to tell the person that you forgive them, you just have to change your thoughts about it, accept it in your heart, and set that negative energy free. 💭


You can choose to forgive others, and you can choose to forgive yourself.

You can choose to thank the person or situation for the lessons you have learned, and let go of the need for apologies or reparations. 🙏🏽

You can choose to feel better because you are worthy of feeling better and 100% deserve it.
