What if a simple shift in how you approach your work could dramatically reduce your stress?
One concept that has been transformative in my own life is something I call ProActivation.
ProActivation is the opposite of procrastination.
Instead of waiting until pressure forces you to act, you choose to engage earlier—with intention.
Many high achievers tell themselves, “I do my best work under pressure.” But what’s often happening is that we’ve simply trained our nervous system to rely on stress and urgency to get moving.
The problem is that operating in constant pressure mode comes at a cost.
When you begin practicing ProActivation, something interesting happens.
You start approaching tasks, projects, and even everyday responsibilities from a place of clarity instead of panic.
You give your brain space to be more thoughtful, more creative, and more present in the work you’re doing.
And perhaps most importantly—you stop believing that peace only comes after the frantic rush of getting everything done.
You’re allowed to create a rhythm where your work is intentional and your mind is calm.
If procrastination has been quietly running the show in your life or career, this conversation might give you a new way to approach it.
