The brain loves repetition. It clings to the familiar—even when the familiar isn’t helpful.
That’s why repeating affirmations, practicing gratitude, or choosing thoughts that feel good can actually reshape your experience.
Not because it’s magic. But because your attention creates your emotional reality.
💭 Ask yourself:
Do most of my thoughts make me feel empowered and grounded?
Or does one negative thought pull me under, like a riptide, until I’m drowning in it?
If that sounds familiar—it’s okay. It just means it’s time to check in.
✨ Start by doing a Thought Download (TDL).
This is a powerful, trauma-informed practice of self-reflection, best done by hand, on paper.
📝 Write freely. No censoring.
Let it all out.
Then ask yourself, as I learned from my mentor:
💬 “What’s wrong, love?”
Let the truth flow.
Once it’s on the page, go back and circle the sentences that are facts.
(As in—provable in a court of law.)
Everything else? Those are thoughts. Stories. Interpretations.
And that means… they’re optional.
You get to decide what story you want to keep living by.
And you always have permission to choose a better one.
Your thoughts shape your emotions.
Your emotions shape your actions.
And your actions shape your results.
