It’s been over three years since the pandemic started, and while so much has changed, many of us are still struggling to regain control, find purpose, and decide what is really most important to us now.
This was me this past February- about to give a talk to over 100 women physicians on processing emotions, specifically… ANGER.
If you had told me 3 years ago that I would be giving talks on stage to hundreds of people, much less in my bathing suit and cover up, I would have thought “YOU CRAZY!”
I’ve since learned that only my thoughts ever hold me back from doing things we ALL are capable of doing.
I showed up that day, and many others, like the badass I knew I was. And it was damn fun doing my talk in my bathing suit, I must say!
When my bestie (who is also a DOCTOR) first told me about coaching, I was so SKEPTICAL –that this was just crazy woo for crazy people.
Coaching taught me how to:
✔️ Develop a deeper awareness of how I was thinking
✔️ See how my thoughts impacted how I was feeling
✔️ Determine how I wanted to show up in my daily life
✔️ Manage my thoughts and empower myself to be in charge
The beautiful thing about stressful situations is that they are wonderful opportunities for GROWTH. 🌱
The pandemic offered me a gift to focus on what I could accomplish if I put my mind to it and how I could regain control of what I WANTED TO CREATE in my day to day life.
